The Baker Dan Story

Baker Dan Baker Dan (Dan Shaham, Ph.D.) began his journey to becoming a pastry chef later in life. Before creating gourmet and classic cookies that feature flavorful taste and healthy alternatives, Baker Dan studied Education and English Literature at the Hebrew University. Later, he attended New York University and earned his Ph.D. in Early Childhood and Elementary Education.

Why bake cookies you ask? Baker Dan was afflicted with arthritis while in his 40’s and changed his dietary habits dramatically. He then decided that he would put his study of baking and production of fine pastries to work by creating delicacies with all natural ingredients that meets any dietary need.

Baker Dan’s mission is simple: To produce the most scrumptious cookies with the best natural ingredients that all can enjoy. Baker Dan seeks to produce a variety of specialty and classic cookies that are pleasurable to eat and made for a healthy treat.

With an emphasis on general health and customer satisfaction, Baker Dan’s cookies have certainly resonated with a wide variety of customers, from vegans to average snack food lovers alike.
